The camera is ready, ........ time stops. Attraction and not refusal of the unconscious image of yourself, robbed in the moment of maximum vulnerability. When there are no shields to protect you, because you do not need them ... the truth is all you need. The revealing second, this is the secret of photography ... the liturgy revealed in the moment of a click.
This is Michele Montano, according to a dear friend of his, after a day spent together during a photographic session. For the rest, he was born in Campobasso, from where he proceeded towards the Capitol to begin his studies at university. Originally, he was enrolled in the Faculty of Philosophy (dissuaded by his mother who is a teacher) then he graduated in Communcations with a final dissertation on Sociology of international relationships and to rediscover old interests for the studies of peace. Contrary of many contemporarean photography, he didn’t attend any courses or Institutes of Photography, because he was convinced to be able to make mistakes on his own. The streets and involuntary teachers have contributed to his formation as a photographer. Quasar Photos is his creation just as the Pinacoteca Dinamica “Francesco Nasella” of which he is the art director.
